M&G Credit Income Investment Trust PLC is a United Kingdom-based diversified closed-end investment company. The Company’s investment objective is to generate income with low asset value volatility. The Company seeks to achieve its investment objective by investing in a diversified portfolio of public and private debt and debt-like instruments. It invests in asset-backed securities, backed by a pool of loans secured on, amongst other things, residential and commercial mortgages, credit card receivables, auto loans, student loans, commercial loans and corporate loans. It also invests in public debt instruments issued by a corporate or sovereign entity which may be liquid or illiquid. The Company invests primarily in sterling denominated debt instruments.
