Mehran Sugar Mills Limited is a Pakistan-based company, which is engaged in the manufacturing and sale of sugar. The Company is engaged in cultivation of different sugarcane varieties. Its business consists of sugar, ethanol, farming, equity investments, renewable energy and sugar retail business. The Company is a producer and marketer of white and brown sugar. The Company offers its sugar under Chashnik and Sugarie brands. The Company has harvested approximately 304,750 maunds sugarcane at the yield of over 870 maunds per acre. Its mill is located at District Tando Allahyar, Sindh. The Company also has investments in an ethanol facility. The Company manages equity portfolio to provide a source of income, through dividends and capital gains. It also manages approximately 1,000 acres of farming with an objective to cultivate high yielding sugar cane varieties.
