The Company is primarily engaged in the business of investing, on a leveraged basis, in residential mortgage assets including residential mortgage-backed securities and residential whole loans. The Company offers residential whole loans, including purchased performing loans, purchased credit impaired, non-performing loans and own residential real estate. The Company's subsidiaries invest in residential mortgage securities including Non-Agency mortgage-backed securities (MBS), Agency MBS and credit risk transfer (CRT) securities.
