Milkiland NV is a Netherland-based holding company engaged in the production and distribution of dairy products, with its principal operations in Ukraine and Russia. The Company’s core product segments are: Whole Milk Products (WMP), which includes drinking milk, cultured milk products, curd products, yoghurts; Cheese and Butter Products, which comprises hard, soft and processed cheese, as well as packaged butter, spreads and monolith butter, and Ingredients, which includes such products, as skimmed milk powder, full cream powder and dry whey, among others. The Company operates through two subsidiaries, namely the wholly owned Milkiland-Ukraine, which includes 10 main dairy plants, milk collection system throughout Ukraine and eight milk farms, and Ostankino Dairy Combine, which is a Russia-based producer of whole milk products. In August 2013, the Company acquired a 4.15% stake in Ostankino Dairy Combine; as the result of the transaction it wholly-owns the subsidiary.
