The Company is engaged in identifying and investing in, and disposing of, businesses operating in or with business exposure to Myanmar. The Company's primary objective is to build capital value over the long term by making investments in a portfolio of Myanmar businesses. The Company makes investments in Myanmar businesses that are listed on foreign stock exchanges but also foreign companies that have a material exposure to do business with or in Myanmar. The Company makes investments in two categories, which include core investments and financial investments. The Company invests in various sectors, including real estate development, education, logistics, construction, financial, infrastructure development, and exploration and production of natural resources. The Company may invest in equity, quasi-equity or debt instruments, which may or may not represent shareholding or management control.
