New Stratus Energy Inc, formerly Red Rock Energy Inc, is a Canada-based resource company engaged in the acquisition, exploration and development of properties for the purpose of producing uranium, as well as oil and gas. The Company operates through two segments: the exploration and evaluation of mineral resource properties in Canada, and the exploration and evaluation of oil and gas properties in Canada. Its principal asset is the Uranium Zone Project, located near Uranium City in northern Saskatchewan, Canada. The Company owns interest in a total of approximately 25 claims covering over 29,000 hectares and additionally over 25,000 hectares near Uranium City. The Uranium Zone Project consists of approximately 15 claims encompassing over 9,000 hectares.
