New Zealand Energy Corp. (NZEC) is a New Zealand-based company. The Company, through its subsidiaries is engaged in the production of and exploration for oil and natural gas, as well as the operation of midstream assets, in New Zealand. The Company’s assets are located on New Zealand’s North Island in the Taranaki Basin. NZEC operates three Petroleum Mining Licenses' (PMLs), one Petroleum Mining Permit (PMP) and one Petroleum Exploration Permit (PEP). It has interest in PML 38138, PML 38140 and PML 38141. The Company also has interest in the Waihapa Production Station and associated gathering and sales infrastructure, providing services, such as operation of the Ahuroa gas storage facility, oil handling and pipeline throughput, gas processing and transport, and produced water handling and disposal.
