Nuwara Eliya Hotels Company PLC owns the Grand Hotel (the Grand). The principal activity of the Company is hoteliering. The Company also owns Fair View Hotel located in Wellawatte, Colombo. The Grand Hotel has approximately 140 deluxe rooms, over four junior suites and approximately three presidential suites. The Grand offers over eight food and beverage outlets to its patrons. From casual dining at the Magnolia and Grand Indian restaurants to the Grand Thai and Barnes Hall guests are offered a range of cuisine to choose from during their stay. The ala carte menu consists of a range of both southern and northern Indian cuisine. Its Fair View Hotel includes approximately 50 luxurious rooms and over 140 deluxe rooms. The Hotel consists of approximately 50 air conditioned, non-smoking, double glazed glass sound proof bedrooms with attached bathrooms. The restaurant on the ground floor offers a range breakfast buffet, as well as an Ala Carte menu for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
