ORIX Modaraba (ORIXM), formerly Standard Chartered Modaraba, is a Pakistan-based perpetual Modaraba. The Company is primarily engaged in leasing/Ijarah of plant, machinery, motor vehicles (both commercial and private) and computer equipment, among others. The Company also invests in commercial and industrial ventures suitable for the Modaraba. The Company offers Islamic products to its customers, which include asset-side/financing products and investment schemes (deposit/liability product). The asset-side/financing product line includes Ijarah-(Leasing), Diminishing Musharakah (DM), Housing Finance Diminishing Musharakah (HFDM) and Morabaha. The Company's investment schemes include products, such as Certificate of Musharika (COM). The Company is managed by ORIX Services Pakistan (Private) Limited (the Management Company). The Management Company is a subsidiary of ORIX Leasing Pakistan Limited.
