Ophir Gold Corp., formerly Minkap Resources Inc., is a Canada-based gold exploration company. The Company's principal business activities include the acquisition and exploration of mineral property assets. It has over seven gold properties located along extensions of the Destor-Porcupine or Borden Gold project. The Company's gold properties in Northern Ontario include Borden North and South, Golden Route, Chapleau, Rollo and Schewabik. The Borden North property is situated along the southern flank of the Kapuskasing Structural Zone, approximately 50 kilometers northeast of Probe Mines' Borden Gold project in Northeastern Ontario. The Borden North property lies along the southeastern boundary of the Shawmere Anorthosite Complex. The Rollo property is situated within the Destor-Porcupine fault zone. The Rollo property is located in the western portion of the Swayze Greenstone Belt of the Abitibi Subprovince. Its West Keefer Property is located in Ontario.
