Organic Potash Corporation is engaged in the production and export of potassium carbonate produced from agricultural waste, in particular, cocoa husks. The Company produces pure potassium carbonate from organic waste materials using a production technology. The Company's potassium carbonate is used in multiple industries, including food, manufacturing (potassium carbonate is found in numerous consumer and industrial products) and pharmaceutical. The Company has a smaller scale prototype plant in Tema, Ghana, which has the capability to produce finished goods. The Company's Tema production plant covers approximately 10,000 square foot facility and houses fully operational K2 production line. The Company's K2 production line produces approximately three metric tons of pharmaceutical grade potassium carbonate per day. The Company's subsidiaries are GC Purchasing Ltd. (GCP) and GC Resources Ltd. (GCR).
