Patagonia Gold Corp., formerly Hunt Mining Corp., is a mineral company. The Company is engaged in the acquisition and exploration of mineral properties in Argentina. The Company's properties are in the exploration stage. The Company does not have any commercially producing mines or sites. The Company owns a 25,000-acre ranch called the La Josefina Estancia, on which the Company's La Josefina project is located. The La Josefina Project is situated approximately 450 kilometers northwest of the city of Rio Gallegos, in the Department of Deseado, Santa Cruz province, Argentina. Its other project is the La Valenciana property. The property is located on the central-north area of the Santa Cruz Province, Argentina, and is located approximately 30 kilometers to the west of the Company's Piedra Labrada base camp. The Bajo Pobre property covers approximately 3,190 hectares and is mainly on the Estancia Bajo Pobre. Its El Gateado property is a 10,000 hectare exploration concession.
