Pelangio Exploration Inc. (Pelangio) is a Canada-based junior gold exploration company. The Company is engaged in acquisition, exploration and development of mineral property interests in Canada, Ghana and Africa. The Company operates in approximately two geographical areas, such as Ghana and Canada. The Company's properties in Ghana include Manfo, Obuasi and Akroma. The Obuasi property consists of the Kyereboso 2, Kyereboso 3 and Meduma concessions totaling over 260 square kilometers. The Akroma Property is an early-stage exploration property. The Company's properties in Canada include the Birch Lake Property and the Poirier Gold Property, both of which are located in Ontario, Canada. The Birch Lake Property consists of approximately 40 contiguous unpatented mining claims, located in the Keigat Lake area, approximately 120 kilometers northeast of Red Lake, Ontario. The Poirier Gold Property Lease is located in Bristol Township, approximately 20 kilometers west of Timmins.
