Midas Gold Corp. (Midas Gold) is an exploration-stage company, which is engaged in exploring and acquiring mining properties. The Company's principal business is the exploration and, if warranted, development of the Stibnite Gold Project. It operates through the segment, which includes mineral exploration the United States. Its focus is to explore, evaluate and develop over three of the deposits known as the Hanger Flats Deposit, West End Deposit and Yellow Pine Deposit, all of which are located within the Stibnite Gold Project. Mineral rights controlled by Midas Gold include patented lode claims, patented mill site claims, unpatented federal lode claims, and unpatented federal mill site claims and consist of approximately 29,223 acres or over 50 square miles.
