R.E.A. Holdings plc is a United Kingdom-based company engaged in the cultivation of oil palms in the province of East Kalimantan in Indonesia and in the production of crude palm oil and crude palm kernel oil. The Company operates in two segments: the cultivation of oil palms, and stone and coal operations. The Company holds an investment in a stone deposit, which is located close to the agricultural operations and holds approximately three coal mining concessions. The Company holds agricultural land allocations in East Kalimantan totaling over 108,000 hectares. Areas planted with oil palms include approximately 37,000 hectares of which over 29,000 hectares are mature. The Company generates renewable energy from its methane capture plants to provide power for its own operations and also for sale to local villages. The Company's crude palm oil production includes approximately 164,000 tons. The Company's, through its subsidiaries, also provides group finance and services.
