Resus Energy PLC, formerly Hemas Power PLC, is engaged in investing in power generation projects. The Company is engaged in the business of producing electricity from renewable energy sources. The Company's hydropower plants generate and transmit approximately 24.24 Gigawatt Hour (GWh) of electricity. The Company has ownership in Panasian Power PLC, which has over two operational plants with a total capacity of approximately 5.4 megawatts. Through them, the Company supplies energy to the national grid in Sri Lanka. The Company's subsidiary, Giddawa Hydro Power (Pvt) Limited, operates Giddawa mini hydropower project. Its subsidiary, Upper Agra Oya Hydro Power (Pvt) Limited, operates Upper Agra Oya mini hydropower project. Its subsidiary, Okanda Power Grid (Pvt) Limited, operates Magalganga mini hydropower project. It also operates Gomale Oya mini hydropower project, Moragaha Oya mini hydropower project and Upper Huluganga mini hydropower project.
