The Company is focused on the commercialization of its biomedical polymer technology, components and medical devices. The Company has developed biostable, implantable polymers, including Elast-Eon and ECSil, which are long-term implantable co-polymers. Its Elast-Eon technology is available in a range of mechanical properties (Elastomers to rigid polymers), 70 Shore A to 80 Shore D. Its ECSil technology is available in a range of mechanical properties, but extends the softer materials to 70 Shore A. The Company has developed Elast-Eon and Reaction Injection Molding (RIM) technology for use in high-precision medical device components. Its polymers are developed and used in cardiology and urological applications, including pacing leads, cardiac cannulae, stents and neuro stimulation devices.
