Searchlight Resources Inc, formerly Canyon Copper Corp, is a Canada-based exploration-stage company. The Company is engaged in the acquisition, exploration and development of mineral properties. It holds interest in a copper porphyry project, the Moonlight Property, located in California, which consists of over 210 unpatented mineral claims having an area of approximately 4,580 acres and also holds title to a claim block in Nevada (the New York Canyon Claims), along with additional mineral claims located within the vicinity of the New York Canyon Claims area (together, the New York Canyon Project). The New York Canyon Project consists of over 60 unpatented mineral claims covering approximately 1,200 acres and over 20 patented mineral claims covering an area of approximately 780 acres. It also interest in the Samuels Lake Property, which is located in the Rainy River District of Ontario, approximately 56 kilometers west southwest of Atikokan. It has not generated any revenues.
