Shahmurad Sugar Mills Limited is engaged in the manufacturing and marketing of sugar and allied products. The Company owns and operates sugar and ethanol manufacturing units, which are located at Jhok, District Thatta in the province of Sindh. The Company operates through two segments: Sugar division and Distillery Division. The Company's Sugar Division is engaged in the manufacturing and sale of refined sugar. The Company's Distillery Division is engaged in the manufacturing and sale of ethyl ethanol. The Company's Sugar Division has a total cane crushing capacity of approximately 840,000 metric tons per annum. The Company's Distillery Division has a capacity of approximately 33,000 metric tons per annum.
