Shahtaj Sugar Mills Limited is a Pakistan-based company engaged in the manufacturing and sale of sugar, whereas molasses and bagasse are its by-products. The Company manufactures, manages, treats, processes and sells sugar produced from sugarcane, sugar beet, raw sugar and other vegetables. The Company also deals in various activities, such as to grow sugarcane, sugar beet, setting up plant and equipment to produce ethanol from molasses, setting up steel re-melting unit and to do all other matters related to its by-products. The Company's mill is located at Mandi Bahauddin in the Province of Punjab. The Company's crushing capacity of mills is 8,000 to 10,000 metric tons of sugarcane per day. The Company is focused on setting up a bagasse-based power project of installed gross capacity of 32 megawatts.
