Shoal Point Energy Ltd. is a Canada-based exploration-stage company. The Company is engaged in the exploration of its oil and natural gas properties. The Company has not yet determined whether these properties contain oil and natural gas resources. The core asset of the Company is its interest in the oil and gas interests in the Green Point Shale area in Western Newfoundland. The Company holds approximately 100% working interest in the Offshore Exploration License #1070 (EL #1070) Shallow Rights and has the right to earn approximately 80% working interest in the Shallow Rights in over 67,298 acre block in Offshore Exploration License #1120 (EL #1120). The Company also has an exploration license and farm-in rights to a second contiguous exploration license off the west coast of Newfoundland, which total approximately 220,000 acres, contained in EL 1070 and EL 1120.
