Anaconda Mining Inc. is a mining and exploration company with gold production, development and exploration properties located in Newfoundland, Canada. The Company's portfolio includes an operating gold mine, various development-stage prospects and exploration properties, grouped in over two project areas. It holds interests in the Point Rousse Project and the Viking Project. The Point Rousse Project covers over 6,316 hectares on the Ming's Bight Peninsula, which is situated within the Baie Verte Peninsula on the north-central part of Newfoundland. The Point Rousse Project consists of approximately five mining leases and over 30 mineral licenses. The five mining leases are Mining Lease 189 (11299M), Mining Lease 149 (2663), Mining Lease 193-A, Mining lease 203 (8014) and Mining lease 226 (10238M). The Viking Project covers approximately 6,225 hectares of property in White Bay, Newfoundland. The Viking Project contains the Thor Gold Deposit and other gold prospects and showings.
