Southern Silver Exploration Corp. is an exploration-stage company. The Company's principal business activities include the acquisition, exploration and development of natural resource properties for enhancement of value and disposition pursuant to sales agreements or development by way of third-party option and/or joint venture agreements. Its properties include Cerro Las Minitas and Oro. The Cerro Las Minitas property is a silver-lead-zinc property, which is located over 70 kilometers to the northeast of the city of Durango in Durango State, Mexico. The Cerro Las Minitas property comprises over 20 concessions totaling approximately 13,700 hectares. The Oro property is a gold-silver-copper-lead-zinc property, which is located approximately 80 kilometers southwest of the Silver City porphyry copper district. The Oro property comprises a contiguous block of Federal, State and private land totaling over 11.8 square kilometers in the Eureka mining district in Grant County, New Mexico.
