Spectra Products Inc., formerly Spectra Inc., is a Canada-based company, which is a vertically integrated manufacturer and supplier of products and services to the commercial transportation industry and the professional truck driver. The Company manufactures and markets brake and wheel-end monitoring equipment as an aftermarket product. Its product, Brake Safe, is a visual brake stroke indicator that permits vehicle drivers to determine the brake adjustment condition of a truck, trailer or bus equipped with an air activated brake system. Its electronic version of Brake Safe is an air brake diagnostic system called Brake Inspector, which provides an in-cab display of air brake status and permits diagnosis of various existing and potential brake problems with the foundation brakes of trucks, trailers and buses. It also supplies an anticorrosion lubricant, Termin-8r, to the transportation industry and Zafety Lug Lock, a product that prevents wheel-end lug nuts from loosening.
