Synex International Inc. is a Canada-based company, which is engaged in the operation, acquisition and development of renewable energy projects. The Company is a run of river hydro, wind power developer, operator and engineering company. Its divisions include Power Division and Engineering Division. The operations of the Power Division are the generation of electricity at the wholly owned 3.8 megawatt (MW) Mears Creek and 2.8 MW Cypress Creek hydroelectric plants (Mears Plant and Cypress Plant). The Power Division has applications for water licenses and land tenures on hydroelectric sites. The Engineering Division provides consulting services within British Columbia and also provides operational, engineering and environmental services to the Power Division. It conducts operations through its subsidiaries, including Synex Energy Resources Ltd and Sigma Engineering Ltd.
