The Thal Industries Corporation Limited is a Pakistan-based company, which is engaged in the production and sale of refined sugar and its by-products. The Company produces various grades of sugar and is involved in the co-generation to export surplus electricity to the national grid. The Company's products include Ultra White Refined Sugar, White Refined Sugar, White Refined Sugar (Fine Grain), Molasses and Bio Fertilizer. The Company's businesses include sugar production, power generation and export, research and development, and biological pest control lab. The sugar production is equipped with automated milling tandems and the Mill Max technology (cane crushing technology), which is built on French design. The Company has approximately two sugar manufacturing units, which include Layyah Sugar Mills, Layyah with a crushing capacity of 12,000 tons of cane per day (TCD) and Safina Sugar Mills, Lalian, Chiniot with a crushing capacity of 7,500 TCD.
