Upland Resources Limited, formerly Ribes Resources Limited, is engaged in acquiring assets, businesses or target companies that have operations in the oil and gas exploration and production sector. The Company intends to apply to the relevant governmental authorities for licenses or permits to explore, appraise and/or develop oil and gas assets. The Company aims to achieve its objective through the identification and acquisition of assets, companies or businesses where the existing owners are attracted to the Company's proposition, namely the opportunity to sell for cash or accept undertakings to finance and carry out work commitments or hold an ownership interest in a company whose equity securities are listed on the London Stock Exchange, with cash, access to capital markets and the know-how to unlock the value of their acquired oil and gas assets. The Company has approximately three subsidiaries.
