Vanadian Energy Corp, formerly known as Uracan Resources Ltd, is a Canadian-based exploration company focused on exploring for vanadium deposits in Manitoba, as well as uranium deposits in Saskatchewan, Canada. The Company holds interest in the Huzyk Creek Vanadium Property, as well as interests in a number of uranium exploration properties in Saskatchewan, such as Clearwater Project, Black Lake Project and Pipewrench Lake Project. The Clearwater Project is underlain by a mix of pelitic to psammitic metasediments. The Company's Black Lake Project covers a total of approximately 30,381 hectares within the prolific Athabasca Basin. The Company holds approximately four claim blocks in the Pipewrench Lake and Narrows Lake areas in Saskatchewan. The Company holds interest in the Lac Turgeon, Wee Gee, Pontbriand and Costabelle properties (the North Shore Properties) located along the Quebec North Shore of the Gulf of St. Lawrence.
