Vital Energy Inc., formerly Ceno Energy Ltd., is a Canada-based oil and gas exploration and development company. The Company is engaged in the acquisition of exploration for, and development and production of primarily light and medium gravity crude oil in Western Canada. Its primary properties include Gull Lake and Pennant properties located in southwest Saskatchewan. The Company operates and holds approximately 50% of working interest in Gull Lake property, which is covered with three-dimensional (3D) seismic data and has approximately six wells producing crude oil from the Roseray formation and one well producing oil and gas from the Cantuar formation. It operates and holds approximately 100% of working interest in Pennant property, including approximately six contiguous sections of land (over 3,810 acres), which are prospective for medium gravity crude oil production from the Upper Shaunovan formation. It has approximately four producing oil wells in Pennant property.
