Whitemud Resources Inc. (Whitemud) is a Canada-based company, which is engaged in developing kaolin resources in the Wood Mountain area of southern Saskatchewan for the production of metakaolin. The Company operates through two segments, including mining, processing and marketing kaolin and metakaolin, and Midstream Energy Partners, which is engaged in managing and marketing hydrocarbons. The Company was formed to engage in the business of developing a process to mine and process kaolin into a high-reactivity metakaolin. Metakaolin contains approximately 20% replacement of Portland cement. The Company has launched industrial production from its facility.
