The Company's wholly owned Albany Graphite Project hosts a deposit of more than one million tons of microcrystalline graphite, which converts to graphene using a variety of mechanical and chemical methods, such as exfoliation. The Albany deposit is located in Northern Ontario, approximately 30 kilometers (km) north of the Trans-Canada Highway, near the communities of Constance Lake First Nation and Hearst. Nearby infrastructure includes hydro-power, a natural gas pipeline, a rail line and an all-weather road. The graphene materials produced from the Albany deposit are one to four layers thick and have high dispersion qualities, which makes them suitable for composites like concrete, rubber and plastics.
