Desert Gold Ventures Inc. is an exploration-stage company. The Company is engaged in the acquisition, exploration and development of mineral resource properties. It holds the Farabantourou exploration and Djimbala permits, through its subsidiary, TransAfrika Mali S.A., located in Mali. The Farabantourou project is located approximately 50 kilometers south of Sadiola and Yatela and is proximal to the SenegalMali shear zone, which hosts the mines Loulo, Sadiola and Yatela, among others. Djimbala is located approximately 220 kilometers south of Bamako and covers an area approximately 120 square kilometers. The Djimbala permit is west of the town of Yanfolila and is surrounded by a number of active gold prospecting permits with gold mineralization. Segala ouest project is located approximately five kilometers north-west of Endeavour's Tabakoto mine. Its subsidiaries include TransAfrika Rwanda Gold S.A.R.L., TransAfrika Mali S.A. and GoldBanks Nevada Ventures Inc.
