Are Noida Toll Bridge Company Ltd latest results good or bad?

04-Aug-2026

Noida Toll Bridge Company Ltd's latest results show a net profit increase and revenue growth, but serious concerns remain due to negative book value per share and a drastic decline in fixed assets, indicating potential long-term sustainability issues. Investors should consider these structural challenges despite recent improvements in profitability.

The latest results for Noida Toll Bridge Company Ltd show a mixed picture. On the positive side, the company reported a net profit of ₹5.29 crores for Q1 FY27, which is a significant increase of 36.34% compared to the previous quarter. Additionally, revenue grew by 8.17% year-on-year, reaching ₹11.38 crores, marking the highest quarterly revenue in at least eight quarters. The operating margin also improved to 36.03%, the best in recent history, indicating better operational efficiency.

However, there are serious concerns regarding the company's financial health. The book value per share is negative at ₹-2.14, reflecting a situation where liabilities exceed assets, which raises significant red flags about long-term sustainability. The company has also experienced a drastic decline in its fixed assets, which fell by 99.18%, likely due to the nearing end of its concession period.

Moreover, the stock has lost 63.59% of its value over the past two years and remains significantly below its 52-week high. The absence of institutional investor interest, with no foreign institutional or mutual fund holdings, further underscores the skepticism surrounding the company.

In summary, while the recent quarterly results show improvements in profitability and revenue growth, the underlying structural issues, particularly the negative equity and asset impairment, paint a concerning picture for the company's future. Investors should weigh these factors carefully.
