Omineca Mining and Metals Ltd. is a junior resource company. The Company holds properties in Western Canada and Yukon for the purpose of exploring and development of mineral resources. The Company controls the Wingdam Project and the Fraser Canyon Project through its wholly owned subsidiary CVG Mining Ltd. The Wingdam Project is located approximately 45 kilometers east of Quesnel British Columbia on the Barkerville highway. The Wingdam property includes both placer and hard-rock tenures along the Lightning Creek valley. The Fraser Canyon Property is located approximately 12 kilometers north of the city of Quesnel. The Fraser Canyon Property consists of approximately 2,221 hectares of placer claims and leases and approximately 1,221 hectares of mineral claims.
