Polaris Infrastructure Inc. is a Canada-based company company, which is engaged in the acquisition, development and operation of renewable energy projects in Latin America. It operates energy projects in Central and South America, which includes both Geothermal and Hydroelectric energy projects. It operates a 72 megawatt (MW) geothermal project in Nicaragua, and three run-of-river hydroelectric facilities in Peru, with approximately five MW, eight MW and 20 MW capacity. The Company operates two projects Polaris Energy Nicaragua S.A and Polaris Energy Peru. The Polaris Energy Nicaragua S.A (PENSA) is a subsidiary of Polaris Infrastructure Inc. PENSA operates and owns the San Jacinto-Tizate Geothermal Power Plant, with an installed capacity of 77 MW (72 MW net). PENSA operates generators of renewable energy in Nicaragua. Polaris Energy Peru operates three total 32 MW hydroelectric Run-of-River (ROR) Power Plants.
