Retailing

Saga Falabella SA is a Peru-based company primarily engaged in the retail sector. The Company’s activities include the import, distribution and sale of a variety of home appliances, computers, printers, electronic gadgets and consumer electronics, furniture, sports equipment, personal care products and infant items, among others. The Company’s retail network comprises 24 department stores and boutiques located in the Peruvian provinces of Arequipa, Cajamarca, Callao, Chiclayo, Ica, Lima, Piura and Trujillo. In addition, the Company has operations established in Argentina, Chile and Colombia. As of December 31, 2011, the Company owned fully consolidated subsidiary Viajes Falabella SA, which is active in the provision of travel arrangement services, and Falabella Peru SAA was its majority shareholder with 94.5% of its interest.
