Are STEL Holdings Ltd latest results good or bad?

28-Jan-2026

STEL Holdings Ltd's latest Q3 FY26 results are very strong, with a net profit of ₹12.58 crores and revenue growth of 5,633.33% year-on-year. However, the company's past revenue volatility and low return ratios raise concerns about the sustainability of this performance.

STEL Holdings Ltd's latest results for Q3 FY26 can be characterized as very strong. The company reported a net profit of ₹12.58 crores, which marks an astonishing increase of 13,877.78% year-on-year. Revenue also saw a remarkable surge, growing by 5,633.33% year-on-year to reach ₹17.20 crores, the highest quarterly revenue in the company's history. This represents an 85.54% increase from the previous quarter, indicating strong momentum.

Additionally, the company's profit after tax (PAT) margin stands at an impressive 74.26%, which is significantly above industry norms, and the operating margin is exceptionally high at 100.71%, reflecting efficient operations with minimal costs.

However, it is important to note that while the headline figures are impressive, the company has exhibited a highly volatile revenue pattern in the past, with significant fluctuations between quarters. This raises questions about the sustainability of such growth. Furthermore, the return ratios, including return on equity (ROE) and return on capital employed (ROCE), are notably low, which suggests that despite strong revenue growth, the company may not be generating adequate returns on shareholder capital.

In summary, while STEL Holdings has delivered outstanding results in the latest quarter, the underlying volatility and low return ratios warrant caution regarding the sustainability of this performance.
