BrainCool publ AB uses a patented cooling method developed by Dignitana AB, the marker of the DigniCap System for the prevention of chemotherapy-related hair loss. The technology used in the BrainCool System allows cooling of the neck, which helps to speed perfusion and cooling of blood before it reaches the brain. The therapeutic hypothermia device is dedicated to patients suffering from stroke, cardiac arrest, traumatic brain injury or neonatal asphyxia.
