First Habib Modaraba is a Pakistan-based financial services institution within non-banking financial sector. The Company is engaged in the business of leasing (Ijarah), Musharaka, Murabaha financing and other related business. Its products include financial services and deposit scheme. Its financial services products include Ijarah (lease financing), Diminishing Musharaka, Consumer Car Ijarah, Murabaha, Salam and Istisna. Its deposits of scheme include Certificate of Musharaka. Ijarah is a contract of renting/hiring/leasing for usufruct of the assets under which the Company arranges finances for moveable fixed assets. Diminishing Musharaka is a Musharaka with an additional feature of decreasing ownership of approximately one party. It also offers car lease-financing scheme for corporate employees and self-employed persons. Murabaha is a non-participatory mode of Islamic financing. Istisna'a is a sale contract between the Company as the seller and the customer as the purchaser.
