Further, the name of the Company was changed from SML Isuzu Limited to SML Mahindra Limited dated 8 October 2025, by issuing a new Certificate of Incorporation by the Central Processing Centre. Company was erstwhile promoted by Japan's Sumitomo Corporation and Isuzu Motors.
