Are Noida Toll Bridge Company Ltd latest results good or bad?

31-Jan-2026

Noida Toll Bridge Company Ltd's latest results show a significant net profit increase of 303.15% in Q3 FY26, but this is largely due to extraordinary non-operating income, raising concerns about sustainability. The company continues to face operational challenges and has a negative book value, indicating caution for potential investors.

The latest results for Noida Toll Bridge Company Ltd present a mixed picture. On one hand, the company reported a significant increase in net profit for Q3 FY26, reaching ₹15.36 crores, which is a remarkable 303.15% increase quarter-on-quarter. Additionally, the revenue showed a modest growth of 6.86% year-on-year, amounting to ₹10.59 crores.

However, these positive figures are largely driven by an extraordinary surge in other income, which constituted 81.71% of the profit before tax. This raises serious concerns about the sustainability of the reported profits, as the core operations of the toll bridge continue to generate insufficient earnings. The operating profit margin, while improved to 28.61%, still reflects a modest operational performance relative to the company's infrastructure asset base.

Moreover, the company faces significant financial challenges, including a negative book value of ₹-2.14 per share and a history of persistent losses over the past five years. The overall financial health is precarious, with a Mojo Score of 23/100 indicating a "Strong Sell" rating.

In summary, while the recent quarterly results show an impressive profit increase, they are not indicative of a sustainable turnaround due to the heavy reliance on non-operating income and ongoing operational challenges. Caution is advised for potential investors.
