Are Olympic Cards Ltd latest results good or bad?

14-Feb-2026

The latest results for Olympic Cards Ltd show significant revenue growth and a large increase in net profit, but ongoing operational losses and high debt levels indicate overall financial health is concerning, suggesting the results are more bad than good for investors.

The latest results for Olympic Cards Ltd present a mixed picture, but overall, they lean towards being concerning.

On the positive side, the company reported a significant increase in net profit for Q3 FY26, reaching ₹3.31 crores, which is a remarkable 390.35% year-on-year growth. Revenue also saw a substantial rise of 48.02% year-on-year, totaling ₹3.36 crores. This growth indicates that the company is gaining traction in terms of sales.

However, despite these revenue gains, the operational performance remains troubling. The operating margin is still negative at -16.37%, although it has improved from -22.03% a year ago. The company continues to face persistent operating losses, with an operating profit (excluding other income) of -₹0.55 crores in Q3 FY26, which is a deterioration compared to the previous quarter.

Moreover, the reported net profit is misleading as it was largely driven by a one-time tax credit of ₹2.22 crores, which artificially inflated the profit figures. Without this tax benefit, the underlying business remains unprofitable.

Additionally, the company's financial health is concerning, with a debt-to-equity ratio of 18.67x, indicating high leverage that exacerbates its operational challenges. The stock has also underperformed significantly over the past year, declining 17.34%, which is worse than the broader market.

In summary, while there are some positive indicators in terms of revenue growth, the overall financial health and operational profitability of Olympic Cards Ltd suggest that the latest results are more bad than good, warranting caution for investors.
