This is in continuation to the litigation disclosed in the offer documents relating to Complaint dated June 4 2014 filed by the State of Jharkhand through the Deputy Director of Mines Safety against six officials/persons associated with Jamunia Open Cast Project in connection with a fatal accident that occurred on December 10 2013. The company has been informed that the Court of the Learned Judicial Magistrate 1st Class Dhanbad vide its order dated May 6 2026 has acquitted all the accused persons named in the aforesaid complaint of the offences alleged under Section 73 72A and 72C(1)(a) of the Mines Act 1952. Consequently the complaint case stands disposed of. Accordingly the litigation disclosed in the offer documents stands concluded with the disposal of the case.
