In March 2023, India’s domestic air passenger traffic rose by 21.4% YoY, as reported by the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA). The month saw a total of 12.89 million passengers taking domestic flights, compared to 10.62 million in March 2022. Q1 2023 passenger traffic witnessed a significant 51.7% growth compared to the previous year. 

IndiGo increased its market share to 56.8% in March, up from 55.9% in February.
