HCL Technologies shares dropped 1.66% to ₹1,046.15 before the company announces its Q4 earnings tomorrow. The stock experienced a 3.68% dip in the last week but saw gains of 5.09% in the past six months, and 0.67% year-to-date.

Analysts predict weak Q4 earnings for the IT major, with profit and Ebit margins expected to contract compared to the previous quarter. Seasonal weakness and a decline in the software segment are cited as reasons for the performance lag.

In the last 12 months, HCL Technologies declared an equity dividend totaling ₹48.00 per share. The company’s board is set to meet on 19 and 20 April 2023 to consider the first interim dividend for fiscal 2023-24. At the current share price, this equates to a dividend yield of 4.59%.
