Bharat Highways InvIT is a trust that handles various infrastructure assets across India. It was established to acquire, manage, and invest in a portfolio of infrastructure assets particularly roads across the country. The trust operates on a hybrid annuity model (HAM).
Bharat Highway’s portfolio consists of seven roads in various states including Andhra Pradesh, Punjab, Gujrat, Maharashtra and Uttar Pradesh. These roads are operated and maintained by Bharat Highways.
The company’s revenue has declined since FY21 but that is due to recognizing expenses during the projects as revenue and going forward the company would only recognize operating & maintenance expenses.
The company has generated positive cash flow from operations in FY23 and H1FY24 but previously generated negative cash flow from operations in FY21 and FY22
The company has a debt of Rs 3,684 crore as of September 2023
